LHZ was established in 1988 in Limbach, Germany, by Uwe Lucht I, and to this day the company remains privately owned by the Lucht family, with the son Uwe Lucht II now running the entire operation, as Managing Director.
The name LHZ stands for “Lucht Heizung”, which in German means “Lucht Radiators” and over the past 20 years, LHZ have been renowned across the world for the supreme quality and high efficiency of their Electric Radiators.
LHZ are continually working to improve their product in many ways, including controllability, reliability quality and efficiency. They recently secured a worldwide patent for their “Magmatic” heat tablets that lie at the heart of the product. These are totally unrivalled by its competitors, and put together with the other very special features, it makes the products totally unique within the Electric Radiator market.

LHZ recently showed its commitment to further develop the company, by moving its Head Office and entire Manufacturing base, to a purpose built site in Hartmansdorf, near Leipzig, Germany. The factory is equipped with the latest specialised Machinery, and this enables LHZ to continually improve its product quality, efficiency and system controls.
